Named after the Tamasheq (tuareg language) word for "starry night," the Tefat's intricate patterns are believed to be inspired by the vast, celestial expanse of the desert sky. It is a rare and precious find, a glimpse into a world long past.

This vintage treasure more than 60 years old would have been the centre piece for an important Bivouac tent, maybe ladies preparation for marriage. It has 2 large repairs and is in the process of being restored. If the buyers prefer the mat can be reduced in length by removing the linear sections at each end including the repairs.
